INCENTIVE: Help with getting rid of the Starscourge in Lucis, bringing the light back in the world. At the time the Eudio representative comes to her, Aranea has left the Empire and the world is in dire need of help. Daemons are flooding out as days grow shorter and shorter, and all she wishes for is for the world to be put back to rights. But it seems to her that Noctis and his retinue might need much more help than she can offer them in Biggs and Wedge, and the Eudio representative offers her, basically, what accounts to hope.

FIT: Aranea is flirty, in an upfront, unsubtle kind of way, and as a mercenary, she is used to doing something for results. After all, she worked with the Empire for a time for the money it gave her. With even the slightest chance of getting rid of the Starscourge, she’ll be even more motivated. And she’s shown to flirt with most of the party members when working alongside them in game, so that would not be an issue for her, either. Her moral compass is, after all, set to good - she defects from the Empire when she realizes they're up to no good, and decides to join the relief effort instead, helping out civilians survive against daemons. She doesn't like to admit it so much and will prefer to dismiss any mentions of her being a hero type, but in the end, she really is.

CONSENT: Aranea would be staunchly on the side of consent herself, considering what happened to her and her world in recent events. She made the decision, back then, to join the Empire, but also made the very conscious choice to leave it, and join the relief effort. She wants to be sure her life is guided by her own choices, and wouldn’t ever want to take that away from anyone else. It’s especially true and relevant when it comes to sex - she’s no virgin and is more than old enough to have sex and enjoy it, and wants it to be a fun time for everyone involved, always.
